Karen Mones – Owner as seen on ABC, CBS, NBC, and FOX Affiliates
Fitness is a journey and not a destination. It’s about making our life more enjoyable by having the strength and endurance to do what many people can not. We grow and evolve throughout our life and fitness has always been the key to enjoying every phase. Fitness training can help improve your energy, build stamina, increase strength and endurance and boost your confidence. It not only changes your body chemistry, releasing endorphins and increasing metabolism, it also improves your mental and spiritual outlook. Things are just better when you are fitter. This was my motivation to start Adventure Boot Camp.
I’ve been a personal trainer and competitive athlete for over 20 years. My interest is constantly changing and I’m always trying new sports and activities. I obtained several certificates which include personal training, pilates, yoga, strength conditioning, sports training, and nutrition. As a result, I was named one of America’s PremierExperts® and interviewed on Health and Wellness Today as a fitness expert. My motivation to staying fit is to find something I enjoy and to train like an athlete for it. Finding the athlete within is what I enjoy helping clients discover.
The combination of my professional background, fitness and formal education, sports conditioning, athletic background and practical experience are what I draw from to keep the workouts fun, different and unique. Our team of trainers share workouts with each other to bring the same variety to their workouts.
We like our classes to feel like you are getting personal training. We will know everyone’s name and we will make sure everyone gets the attention they need. This close environment along with the varied workouts (so you never get bored), makes Adventure Boot Camp Houston’s favorite workout group. We are a fun exercise adventure that will add years and friends to your life.
